Our project

Our aim is to contribute to a better life within and beyond EDHEC.

Since bikes limit the emissions of carbon dioxide they are definitely the most sustainable alternative to cars.

Our goal is to encourage students to use their bikes instead of their usual mode of transportation.

Our objectives
  1. First, spread awareness on the impact of pollution on the environment, on our daily life and how we individuals, can contribute to a better life

  2. Teach kids between the ages of 7 and 12 how to use bikes

  3. Make a maximum number of people join our sustainable movement

Some facts
  1. Air pollution caused by the use of cars is behind the deaths of 48,000 people in France each year

  2. Bicycles save over 238 million gallons of gas every year

  3. There are over 1 billion bicycles currently being used all around the world

  4. More cycling could reduce road deaths by 30%

  5. 1 year maintenance cost for a bicycle is over 20 times cheaper than for a single car
